A nice little project from Buenos Aires that mixes tango and son. They do classic material from Astor Piazzolla, and the Cuban songbook, including “Dos Gardenias” and “Lágrimas Negras.” They also do “Autumn Leaves,” translated as “Dead Leaves” whatever. The group uses electric guitar and tres, and bandoneon, the squeezebox used in tango. It's polite and arranged and it all flows nicely. Comes with two PC video tracks too. Recommended.
